Colorado Mountains Wedding | Hannah + Ian

There are so many cool elements about this adventurous Colorado mountain wedding. H and I are such good people. We loved spending the day with them on the mountain. Their wedding was at the Arapaho Basin Ski Lodge. Hannah rode the chairlift to the top of the mountain to meet Ian. The breathtaking views really set the tone for a dramatic entrance. The first look took place on the actual ski slope just after a few flurries kept us waiting. Hannah is probably the only bride I know who was excited for the unpredictable weather. She literally said she hoped it would rain, because “rain in the mountains is so dramatic and beautiful.” Well she got her wish! It rained, snowed, and the sun came out all during that one day in August.

Hannah is also an incredible baker. So please notice the homemade pies, cookies, and cakes for the dessert table. This is one of my favorite Pie Bars. And best yet, all were lovingly made by the bride.

The oxygen bar was also a nice touch for the reception, especially because of the high elevation. The guests were all about it!
