Pumpkin Spice Baby

Is it even pumpkin spice season without the appearance of mini pumpkins and festive, fall baby butts? I’m shocked Indie made it through this short but sweet photoshoot without peeing al fresco. Usually, the second that diaper comes off, the waterworks follow. Today was a pleasant surprise though. Don’t worry she totally made up for this and made sure to pee all over me later while waiting for bath time.

I definitely thought I’d be way more into cute little shoots with her and go overboard with stylizing. But the stay-at-home mom-life has turned out to be quite the challenge physically and emotionally for me. Most days if I can get a decent meal made for myself and maybe a load of laundry, I’ll call that a good day. Sort of. Forget about a “cute life” with pictures to prove it! So today is extra special, because we got a just-for-fun project done together. And I’m crying because her fabulous baby rolls will live forever in these images and make me smile long after the coffee wears off. Still not wearing any makeup though, and I can’t remember if I washed my face.
